Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to oversee sales and business development for port machineries in Italy. The role covers mobile container handling equipment (e.g., Reachstackers, Empty Container Handlers) and container handling cranes (e.g., Ship-to-Shore Cranes, Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes, Rail-Mounted Gantry Cranes).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in the port and logistics industry.
Identify business opportunities, manage customer accounts, and drive sales growth.
Actively participate in tenders, negotiations, and contract discussions.
Represent the company at industry fairs, networking events, and trade shows.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and after-sales support, to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the port machinery or related heavy equipment industry.
Strong network within the container handling and port operations sector.
Preferably, it possesses technical knowledge of port machinery and handling equipment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and internationally.
