Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Channel Business Professional to help drive our "partner first" strategy in Southern Europe. This role will be responsible for activating partners and driving revenue growth through strategic alliances, distribution networks, and sales enablement.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel management, software solutions sales, and leveraging vendor alliances and ISVs. They will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance day-to-day activities and deliver short-term results while developing long-term strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute joint business plans with distributors and reseller partners to drive revenue growth and mindshare.
* Foster executive-level partner relationships to grow revenue and increase partner engagement.
* Identify and develop champions who will pilot programs, prove success, and incorporate findings into joint GTM approaches.
* Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate forecasting and visibility into opportunity development.
* Facilitate sales engagements with channel partners, including sales and technical enablement and training.
* Pursue two-tier distribution strategies, including onboarding and development.
* Maintain a strong network of connections in channel partners and SIs to accelerate partner recruitment.
* Drive sales projects with partners and forecasting in cooperation with local sales managers.
Requirements:
* 8-10 years of experience in channel management sales, with 3+ years in storage channel management.
* In-depth knowledge of the VAR and System Integrator (SI) storage and infrastructure channel in Southern Europe.
* Understanding of high-tech sales cycles and ability to navigate complex sales environments.
* Native Italian speaker and fluent in English required; Spanish language is a plus.
