What we are looking for
A Labour Cost and Productivity Controller Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing workforce-related expenses and enhancing overall productivity within the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Lead the development of a 3-Year Strategic Plan, along with overseeing monthly forecasting and financial closing processes;
2. Productivity Assessment: Monitor and evaluate productivity metrics at the store level, providing insights to improve efficiency. Identify trends and areas that require improvement, implementing best practices for enhanced operational performance.
3. Cost Savings Tracking: Oversee the tracking of cost-saving initiatives at both corporate and country levels, identifying areas for potential savings.
4. Labor Cost Control: Focus on human capital (HC) and labour cost control, analyzing productivity metrics by store to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
5. Initiative Deployment: Work closely with country managers to challenge and ensure the effective deployment of global initiatives aimed at cost reduction and productivity improvement.
6. Change Management: Lead initiatives aimed at improving productivity and reducing costs, effectively managing any resistance to change.
What you'll need
Education and experience
* University degree (with preference to Economics)
* 8-10 years of experience in Planning & Control function.
* Previous experience in a multinational and complex environment
* Additional international experience as a plus
* Fluent English
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions to support decision-making.
* Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to labor costs.
* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges related to labor costs and workforce productivity.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.
* Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives aimed at improving productivity.
