You’re a great hunter? Join us Westcon-Comstor is looking for a Business Development Manager for our Italian office, in Agrate Brianza. As a Business Development Manager, you will provide product management & sales engagement to resellers. You will understand the vendor strategy & goals. You will be a key element in developing aligned strategies for the benefit of Westcon. You will participate in the execution of sales and marketing plans. Your Key Responsibilities: Identify and establish new customer accounts (e.g., call dormant accounts, cold call, obtain leads from vendors) Maintain and grow business with existing accounts Support internal sales in managing account administration Consult with customers in selling and supporting Westcon products and services Provide product presentations, demonstrations, customer and sales training for assigned accounts Prepare partner plans and execute directly Identify cross selling opportunities and create value added opportunities within Westcon’s products and services portfolio Keep customers up to date with product-related information and establish productive vendor relations to ensure quality of service to customers Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support the customer Maintain up-to-date profiles on accounts showing revenue projects and quotas and relevant account information on CRM Develop relationships with Vendor Account Management Teams Gain general understanding of customer business and strategic plans as they relate to Westcon products and services Monitor performance of allocated accounts and identify areas of opportunity Ensure forecasts are submitted in a timely and accurate manner Prepare business development plans for account set Attend relevant internal and external product training and all required internal and external meetings (Work at customer sites and attend customer meetings as part of engagement strategy when necessary) Meet all reporting deadlines with accuracy (e.g., call reporting, pipeline reporting, etc) Maintain and develop own knowledge of Westcon and vendor product portfolio Qualifications / Requirements: Your profile: • You are fluent in Italian & have at least an intermediate level in English. • You have a significant experience in a similar position (from 5 to 7 years), working for an IT distributor or integrator. • Ideally, you have knowledge or technical understanding in Cybersecurity and/or Networking. • You have great hunting skills, and you are able to work in a team.
