!!!Please note that this is a part time position, 2 full days per week! 16 hours total.!!!Job Title: Level 2 Field Support – Deskside TechnicianDuration: Initial 12 month contractWork hours: 2 full days per week (any two days)Setup: Partita Iva or Limited CompanyLocation: Milan (Onsite)Overview:We are seeking a skilled Deskside Technician to provide Level 2 IT support to end users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The role involves troubleshooting, hardware installations, and supporting enterprise IT environments in accordance with SLA-driven support processes.Key Responsibilities:End-user IT support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues across Windows 7/10 and MS Office 365 environments.Installation, movement, and decommissioning of PCs, laptops, printers, and AV systems.Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues (LAN, Wireless, VPN).Managing Active Directory (AD) and Exchange administration tasks.Deploying software updates and patches via Microsoft SCCM.Supporting iPads, iPhones, and Android devices.Assisting with small-scale IT projects, including new hardware/software deployments.Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco desk phone systems.Rack and stack hardware installation in data centres and comms rooms, including cabling and console access.Required Skills & Qualifications:Degree or certifications in IT, electronics, or telecommunications.Expertise in Windows OS (7/10), Microsoft Office 365, and remote administration tools.Strong diagnostic skills for PCs, laptops, printers, and multifunction devices.Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) and ITIL methodologies (preferred).Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, VPN, wireless troubleshooting).Competence in handling AV systems and printer configurations.Fluent in Italian and English.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced IT support environment.A proactive, customer-focused mindset.This role offers a great opportunity to work hands-on with enterprise IT infrastructure, contributing to IT service excellence in a dynamic workplace.
