What will you do as a Business Development Manager?As a Business Development Manager in the NRF automotive division, you are responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while fostering growth within a robust base of existing accounts. Your mission as BDM includes promoting NRF brand, supporting distributors, tracking market trends, collaborating with international teams, organizing seminars, and helping to achieve sales targets.You will provide day-to-day support to Company distributors by managing order processing, payment control, delivery coordination, and addressing inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor business services related to aftermarket segments, occasionally traveling to other EU countries. Regular market reports on competitors’ activities and market changes will be generated by you, and you will propose competitive pricing strategies, including discounts, and contribute to the development of national price lists.The role also involves organizing and coordinating seminars, presentations, and training sessions for Company customers and distributors, as well as supporting advertising and PR activities. This includes advising on advertising strategies, collaborating with distributors to enhance advertising efforts, and arranging advertising and PR with magazines and trade shows.You will be part of the European sales organization, directly supported by the local customer service and distribution center. Working closely with the European sales team, you will develop the customer portfolio and strategy, collaborating closely with the international team and reporting to the Regional Director of Sales & Operations.What do you bring as a Brand Promoter?• Good knowledge of the local automotive aftermarket on regional and national level is a must;• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position working for the international aftermarket supplier or automotive distributor as an account manager or in product management;• Technical background in automotive will be an advantage;• You must bring a high level of enthusiasm, energy and desire to be successful;• Data oriented sales approach;• Comfortable hunting new business;• Analytical but pragmatic, proactive person;• Willingness to travel (driving license cat. B) – 80% of your time will be spent on business trips• Native Italian & fluent English (speaking and writing)
