The Recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of Tecnimont Services.Control System EngineerAs a key figure in the design and protection of industrial control systems, the Control System Engineer is responsible for configuring, optimizing, and securing industrial control networks, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. The position requires a deep understanding of ICS and SCADA systems, along with cross-functional skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Main Activities Responsibilities:Following the Manager's directives, the Control System Engineer is responsible for the following key activities:Network Design: Configure network segmentation, secure remote access, and redundancy planning for ICS and SCADA systems.Regulatory Compliance: Apply ISA99/IEC 62443 and IEC 61508/61511 standards to ensure functional and operational security.Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security and functionality into projects.Security Support: Implement and monitor security measures to prevent operational disruptions and cyber threats.Reporting: Create detailed technical documents for monitoring and review.Technical Skills:Experience in designing and configuring ICS and SCADA networks.Knowledge of ISA99/IEC 62443 and IEC 61508 standards.Ability to plan redundancy and segment industrial networks.Soft Skills:Attention to detail to ensure secure and reliable network configurations.Strong organizational skills to manage complex projects.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Attitude:Proactive approach to risk and vulnerability management.Continuous learning mindset.Strong focus on security and operational efficiency.Experience:Previous experience in ICS system design and redundancy planning.Direct involvement in projects requiring compliance with functional safety standards.Additional Requirements:Travel availability: Willingness to work on-site at different project locations (less than 25% of the time).Languages: English B2 level.Preferred Education: STEM degrees.Other Relevant Skills: Familiarity with hardware and software for control systems in EPC environments.Location: Catania
