What we expect from you to excel in this role: Mission: Develop the local market by driving sales growth and capturing opportunities. The role involves building strong client and partner relationships, refining sales strategies, and managing sales agents. Acting as a company ambassador, the manager enhances Fonroche Lighting’s reputation through events and networking. The position aligns local efforts with the company’s global objectives for sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: Business Development (70%) - You have a true “hunter instinct” that can create interest and trust. You will be responsible for your sales pipeline and all its stages—organizing qualified meetings with key decision-makers, pitching, sales proposals, negotiation, and signing contracts—to achieve your goals. Strategic Business Development (20%) - You will use your experience to co-develop and evolve the sales strategy, tools, and processes in the market. Networking (10%) - You will develop our reputation (in Italy) in a rapidly growing ecosystem: organizing events, public speaking, participating in trade fairs, building a network of influencers, etc. All means are valid to strengthen our legitimacy with partners and potential customers. Imponderables: Travel Requirement: Daily travel within the designated territory: Puglia. Grow existing accounts by maintaining relationships with clients. You will manage the operation of the accounts through responding to customers, forecasting, arranging services, and ordering new products. You will generate new leads and tackle existing leads to contribute to business growth. You will attend trade shows and relevant conferences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 5 years in related field. Proven experience in business development with public infrastructure and public sector markets, ideally with disruptive technologies. Experience managing cross-functional sales networks (e.g., sales agents). Extensive field sales experience with a demonstrated track record of results. Highly organized, results-driven, and customer-oriented. Language Skills: native Italian and fluent English for training and communication with headquarters.
