For a leading company in the Food & Beverage sector, part of an important European group, we are looking for organic expansion:
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER | GDO
The job purpose of KAM, key part of the Italian Sales Team of the Company, is to support and implement sustainable and profitable growth within the Italian GDO Market. The candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them. He/she will be responsible for building relationships with new clients and will follow existing customers in the Northern area of Italy. In addition, he/she will support team driving forward company-wide projects.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
* Management of the strategic customer focusing on growing and developing existing clients and in addition to generate new business in particular in GDO Channel;
* Playing an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients, ensuring constant and high customer satisfaction;
* Responsible for the development and achievement of sales results required by the Company;
* Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions;
* Achieving sales targets and goals while motivating colleagues to do the same;
* Building new business relationships using existing industry contacts;
* Giving sales presentations to internal and external stakeholders;
* Managing employer’s client relationships and providing clients with excellent service and support;
* Strong collaboration with the Sales & Marketing department collection and sending suggestions for improvement and market research.
Requirements:
We will select applications with the following characteristics:
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Marketing or Economics Management or other relevant fields, or proven experience in the use of the main tools and techniques in Sales;
* Sales experience 1 - 2 years in managing important customers operating in the GDO market in the role of KAM; proven ability to build collaborative relationships and networks, good Knowledge in organic food will be a plus;
* Good Knowledge in managing - monitoring Financial KPIs and Developed forecast accuracy;
* Intermediate/advanced level knowledge of Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
* Knowledge of the Business English language;
* Strong ability in negotiation and excellent verbal - written communication skills, highly self-motivated;
* Secure capacity to support growth opportunities and familiarity with customer Approach in the GDO Retail trade and understanding of sales and marketing principles.
