Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Additives for Wood & Paper Processing

Your Team:
You will be a key member of our sales team, driving new business development for additives in wood processing, décor paper impregnation/laminates, and paper manufacturing/converting.
You will represent MÜNZING to customers, ensuring seamless communication of their requirements to our product development team.
You will identify unique selling points, promoting our innovative products with a value-driven approach and strong deal-closing acumen.
Your Sales Territory:
Italy, with further opportunities in South Europe based on your language skills and expert knowledge.
Tasks:
Maintain and expand existing business while actively pursuing new opportunities in the décor paper impregnation/laminates, wood, and paper processing/converting industries.
Identify new customer needs and translate them into business opportunities.
Develop customized solutions with highly specialized additives in close collaboration with our product development laboratory.
Negotiate prices and contractual terms with customers to achieve agreed-upon sales objectives.
Monitor market trends and competition, identifying significant growth opportunities beyond organic expansion.
Your Profile:
University degree or applied sciences degree in wood processing, preferably in paper manufacturing, impregnation, laminating, processing, or converting.
Alternatively, relevant application technology experience with additives in these industries.
At least two years of hands-on professional experience in one of the above-mentioned fields.
A minimum of two years of experience in sales or a closely related function (e.g., application technology with direct and frequent customer interaction).
Fluency in English and Italian; further language skills are a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 60% of total working time) and a valid driver's license.
