TXT e-Tech, for its Aerospace&Aviation division, is looking for a System Engineer specialised in Fuel systems who will be in charge of requirements definition, physical and functional modelling and support to the equipment engineer.
The selected resource will work within a multidisciplinary team and will be involved in the different phases of the system life cycle, from the definition of the architecture to technical validation with suppliers.
Main responsibilities:
System Requirements & Architecture Definition:
Analysis of L1 (aircraft) requirements and derivation of L2 requirements at system and Fuel subsystem level;
Analysis of airworthiness requirements applicable to the Fuel system;
Definition of system requirements, including fuel centre of gravity (CG) management;
Support for preliminary Fuel system architecture definition.
Physical modelling of the system:
Development of physical simulation models of the Fuel subsystems (e.g. sloshing, CG, pressure drops, tank-to-tank transfers);
Analysis for functional and performance dimensioning of subsystems;
Cyclic updating of models based on information from suppliers;
Functional modelling:
Development of functional models of the Fuel system;
Definition of interfaces, use cases and validation of the architecture in different operating scenarios;
Support in defining and allocating detailed requirements;
Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
Equipment engineering:
Drafting of preliminary supply specifications;
Technical analysis of supplier proposals;
Participation in the document update process and conducting KoM and design reviews.
Technical skills required:
Expertise in systems engineering and aeronautics;
Knowledge of design processes in aeronautics;
Ability to develop simulation models of concentrated-parameter and one-dimensional environmental control systems and knowledge of systems simulation tools (Simcenter Amesim, MATLAB/Simulink);
Knowledge of fluid dynamic simulation and 3D design tools (StarCCM+ and Catia V5);
Good knowledge of spoken and written English
Optional technical skills:
Familiarity with technical documents, standards and aviation regulations;
Knowledge of requirements management methods and related tools (DOORS);
