Sales Operations Manager
Scope of responsibilities:
The individual will support sales leaders in evaluating sales performance against goals, opportunities for optimization, and attainment vs. forecast, utilizing various tools to derive well-vetted analysis, and other ad-hoc requests and analysis as needed. This person will drive the rhythm of business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.
The successful candidate has a proven work ethic and is able to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and work cross-functionally while delivering successfully against high standards.
This role serves as a key member of the Sales Operations team and will provide reporting and dashboards to enable informed and insightful business influencing decisions and improvement readiness. You will build scalable mechanisms to support business and program operation processes. You will have oral and written communication skills enabling you to dive deep into the data to find answers, and to summarize the data into a logical analysis that ensures all stakeholders are informed. Additionally, you must be able to collaborate and develop relationships and partner with finance, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues.
Knowledge and experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
2. 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations
3. Experience defining, refining and implementing processes, procedures and policies
4. Financial, analytical, and communication skills
5. Ability to adapt to a fast-changing and evolving role
6. Comfortable working in a continuously expanding program or line of business
7. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required (extensive knowledge of Excel required)
8. Ability to work in a lean, fast-paced organization, and a desire to own and refine key operational processes
9. Experience with other 3rd party reporting platforms such as SalesForce
10. Understanding and experience working in a SaaS environment
