We are looking for a Sales Manager, who will preside over the territories of the Italian basin. The candidate will be part of the sales network and will contribute to the growth of the company's turnover in the target territory. The person will be based at the Italian HQ in Pioltello (MI)
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Selling the products and solutions through ocean/air export and import services and products
* High market knowledge fostering customer relationships and concluding new contracts
* Mantain existing customers and promote their satisfaction as the first point of contact
* Contact person and network at customer events, trade shows and corporate events
* Being the liaison between the operations departments and customers' needs
* Responsible for acquiring new customers to ensure the growth of the company.
* Set performance targets & ensure adherence
* Manage a local sales team
Main requirements:
* +10 years of Sales experience
* Strong background in a strategic Business Development, Sales or similar position with + 5 years of
* Previous experience as a Manager
* High level sales training certificate in freight forwarding field
* Fluency in English and good knowledge of MS Office is required
