To support the Marketing Manager in the Consumer Marketing area, coordinating and implementing integrated Digital Marketing activities. These activities will contribute to delivering visitor targets for Italy in line with agreed strategies for the Italian market and Tourism global corporate objectives.
The Duties – Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Support the implementation of digital campaigns, overseeing taxonomy processes to increase consumer engagement.
* Work closely with team members across plans and projects to ensure fully integrated and optimized programmes.
* Coordinate and own Italian social media accounts, fostering vibrant communities and delivering innovative campaigns.
* Assist with budget management and adhere to company financial policies and procedures.
* Manage email automation programme and integrate content with other online and offline activities.
* Monitor, report and evaluate key performance metrics on digital activities, drawing insights and learnings from data.
* Support local and central digital marketing campaigns, owning social media plans and projects roll-out.
* Implement digital marketing activities featuring industry and trade partners as part of Italy's Industry Opportunities Programme.
* Support digital PR and advocacy programmes through activities with influencers / bloggers.
* Organise events/receptions and other activities as required.
The Person:
* Previous relevant experience in Digital Marketing, including Social Media and Email marketing systems.
* Strong copy-writing skills for web-based and email content in Italian.
* Excellent computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and database management.
* Advanced level of competence in written and spoken Italian and English.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a small team, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good analytical abilities and organisational, administration and time management skills.
This role requires a degree level qualification in Marketing and/or previous experience working in a marketing environment. Experience working in the travel/tourism service sector is also beneficial. Knowledge of Photoshop and Martech tools is an advantage.
