We are looking for a result-driven, self-starter, entrepreneurial, analytical, and customer-obsessed Sr. Business Developer for Italy. This is an opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon logistics business, responsible for the commercial activity for Enterprise companies, reaching out to new prospects and negotiating with them to onboard in the program. You will also collect market and customer insights to ensure we continue to improve our product and delight our customers. You have extensive experience developing relationships across functional areas such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Product, and Tax. You have very strong sales skills and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and revenue targets. You can communicate with senior leaders in a clear, concise, and structured manner, particularly in written form. You can easily shift from strategic thinking to executing to deliver results. This role will be based in Milan with moderate travel (maximum 25%). Italian speaking is a requirement. Key job responsibilities Deliver Results: identify strong prospects and close successful deals with them. Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our potential future strategic customers. Cross-functional collaboration: Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management and Technical. Dive deep: Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas. Invent and Simplify: Analyze current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. Extensive experience in business development, sales, and account management, ideally in the B2C express parcel delivery industry. Demonstrated ability in managing commercial relationships with Enterprise level companies. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Strong ownership, bias for action. Ability to Dive Deep and deal with large sets of data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership. Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA. Experience in the B2C parcel delivery industry.
