We are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location.How you’ll make an impactCollaborate with tendering team in Europe ensuring that all the risks have been identified, assessed and mitigatedMonitor the portfolio transition from SF6 to EconiQ ensuring that all risks and related mitigation actions have been taken into accountMonitor and collaborate with tendering teams and operating unit in order to have a proper implementation of F-Gas regulationCollaborate with Business Unit (BU) Risk Manager in improving HBU risk review process for Europe as a pilot replicable in other Hubs, interacting with Hub Sales Operations and Hub Management to coordinate approval processesVerify the correct application of FCM/NM approval process at HUB level and make sure that any deviation on NM and provision is escalated at the correct approval level based on HUB/BU instructionsEstablish a proper planning for the review and approval of the tenders in pipeline to improve data quality and approval on timeParticipate in project reviews, monitoring KPIs and transferring lessons learned from project execution within HUB/Region to new tendersEducate / provide training on Risk Management and collaborate with other HUB Risk ManagersWork on offshore Cookbook for HV, in collaboration with BU Risk Manager, Contract Management and Renewable Business DeveloperPerforming the preparation and conduction of risks and opportunities analysis/presentations, preparation of strategy papers, definition of overall project claim strategiesConducting contract and claims negotiations and settlements together with the project managementGeneral advice and pro-active support project management, site management, procurement/supply department and other project team members in the execution of Customer Contracts, Consortium Agreements, Subcontracts/Supply contracts to secure Hitachi Energy’s contractual rights and entitlementsYour backgroundDegree in law, business administration or equivalentExtensive experience in Contract Management functions and processes in project execution of EPC energy projects or similar industrial plantsContract management, Project Management or Sales Support backgroundKnowledge about internal Risk Review regulationsContract Managers with Site Contract Management experience of more than 3 years will be preferredExperience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partnersSolid experience change management, claim management and contract-related legal issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility regarding proposal stage and/or project executionBehavior and dealing with foreign cultures (Ethical Conduct)Systematic and structured work styleAbility to negotiate in English and German language.
