JOB PURPOSE
Customer Development (CD) is what we call our Sales organization at Unilever. Customer Development works closely with our customers to pioneer new products, build categories, and deploy best-in-class retail and shopper capabilities.
This role will lead directly on B&W Commercial Lead in Italy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and Perfectly Execute the Channel and Category plans for B&W to enable delivery of commercial objectives through the multichannel customer base in the market (Includes setting of list price, promotional strategy, cost pricing plans and monitoring along the year).
2. Build plans to gain market share in black and white.
3. Lead through NRM levers and own the necessary plans to comply with the Commercial Investment Framework with the CDB teams.
4. Conduct in-depth market and territory analysis to identify trends, consumption habits, and opportunities, using collected data to provide insights to the internal team and clients, to optimize commercial marketing strategies and maximize return on investment.
5. Design and implement creative and effective trade marketing initiatives, in line with commercial objectives and client strategies, including, for example, promotions, visual merchandising activities, incentive programs, joint marketing.
6. Coordinate the execution of trade marketing initiatives, ensuring they are correctly and timely implemented in stores. Collaborate with the internal team and external suppliers to ensure full execution of planned activities, constantly monitoring results and making necessary adjustments.
7. Represent the Customer and Channel in the S&OP Process.

Experiences & Qualifications
1. Prior experience in Trade Marketing Management and/or Category Management in the consumer goods sector is an essential prerequisite for this role.
2. Preferential qualification will be considered for experience in sales and management of large-scale retail.
Skills
1. Commercial and Channel strategy creation and execution
2. NET REVENUE MANAGEMENT experience
3. Skilled at evaluating commercial opportunities and selling ideas across 6Ps
4. Performance management + S&OP
5. Managing senior stakeholders across CD and BU
6. Advanced knowledge of main computer tools, excellent knowledge of the Office, previous experience using Nielsen, PowerBI.
7. Ability to work in complex organizational environments.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong orientation towards achieving objectives
9. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team management and team-working aptitudes in cross-functional groups.
10. Excellent knowledge of the English language
