About the Role:
You will be responsible for the successful performance of the leisure travel of international customers from the beginning to the end. Working closely with Sales and other internal department stakeholders, you will also be responsible for promoting the destination, scouting new clients, supplier relationship management, and presenting the creation of tailor-made concepts & itineraries for group travel to our international customers.
Key Relationships:
* Sales team
* All Group departments, agents, suppliers, hoteliers, management/staff, including HR and Finance
Responsibilities:
* Understand client’s needs and expectations, liaising with sales to ascertain client’s precise requirements.
* Manage strategy & planning of all activities related to the specific business assigned, including:
* Select & negotiate appropriate vendors to supply all components of the itinerary/package.
* Monitor and control services confirmed within given budgets.
* Oversee all aspects of the execution, handling Sales/Clients enquiries and troubleshooting.
* Implement and adopt appropriate systems, procedures & measurement tools to ensure excellent service standards and unparalleled customer satisfaction.
* Attend fairs and trade shows, schedule business trips and inspections when needed.
* Contribute to the promotion of the destination and sales and margin growth.
* Ensure delivery of excellent quality standards from both land service and hotel suppliers.
* Bring the right balance of creativity, accuracy, and problem-solving.
* Meet assigned objectives & targets.
* Travel up to 20%.
To Succeed in this role you should have:
* Solid evidence of work experience within incoming tourism, preferably within a Tour Operator or DMC environment.
* Excellent knowledge of touristic sights with a specific focus on ITALY.
* Strong agency portfolio and network.
* Proven track record of project management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Fluency in English is essential; any additional language(s) is a plus.
* Excellent project and time management skills.
* Strong planning and execution skills.
* Ability to interact effectively with internal management at all levels.
* Ability to effectively influence at multiple levels with excellent communication skills.
* Team player, team builder, ability to work both in group situations and also as an individual.
