The main activities of the role are therefore:
1. Review of the list of Suppliers and Subcontractors, new qualifications or rating changes;
2. Management of the competitive offer process and conduct of the offer closing process;
3. Conducting, as the sole point of contact for the Supplier and/or Contractor, the negotiation of the commercial and contractual conditions that precede the execution of the Purchase Order/Work Order;
4. Evaluation and internal presentation of the commercial offer;
5. Management of the purchase order, through the internal authorization process;
6. Handling of any complaints towards Suppliers and/or Contractors.
Profile and experience:
* Diploma or short degree in technical disciplines with a mechanical focus - candidates with a different background will be considered if they have already gained experience in the role.
* Previous experience in similar roles of at least five years in companies in the metalworking sector with management by order.
* Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
* Predisposition for relationships and negotiation in the purchasing field.
* Spirit of enterprise and problem solving.
* Motivation to improve and learn, passion for this activity.
* Habit of teamwork and time management to achieve the objectives set while respecting deadlines.
* Personal responsibility and confidentiality, sensitivity and technical-commercial acumen.
* Knowledge and operation on an ERP is essential.
* Expert knowledge of Office 365 tools.
* Mastery of written and oral English; an additional language is a plus.
Contract: permanent, full-time employment at the Castel Maggiore (Bologna) office.
Classification and remuneration: to be defined based on experience and skills (CCNL Metalmeccanica).
