THE ROLE
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.
The Technical Services and Facilities Directorate is coordinated by Dr. Massimiliano Gatti.
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:
* Design and management of construction work at the Institute's premises, of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, of the buildings;
* Defining and implementing guidelines, workflows and procedures for the adoption and use of BIM within the organization;
* Ensuring the implementation and management of BIM processes in the design and construction phases, guaranteeing the effective integration of BIM throughout the construction process;
* Training and supporting colleagues in BIM methodologies;
* Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and relevant regulations;
* Managing orders, also with the role of construction manager or operations manager, and safety on construction sites, both in the design and execution phases.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* A master's or bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering or surveyor diploma (geometra );
* Registration with the Order of Architects/Engineers or the Collegio dei Geometri with authorization to sign projects;
* Experience in BIM;
* Knowledge of BIM regulations;
* Knowledge of building permit management;
* Knowledge of the Procurement Code (Legislative Decree 36/23 and Consolidated Act 81/08);
* Excellent knowledge of graphic projects tools (Autocad) and metric calculations;
* Experience in the sector, especially relevant to the field of research institutes;
* Willingness to travel within the country;
* Good knowledge of the English language.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
* Experience in the design, management and organization of construction sites within scientific research institutes, in particular in the field of public procurement, graphic drafting of building permits.
* Experience in the management of workspaces and related health and safety regulations.
* Qualification to carry out the activity of safety coordinator in the design and execution phase;
* Authorization to sign fire prevention projects;
* Knowledge of CAM and its application in the construction sectors;
* Experience in drafting the Informative Specifications (Capitolato Informativo, CI ), the Informative Management Offer (Offerta di Gestione Informativa, oGI ) and/or the Informative Management Plan (Piano di Gestione Informativa, pGI ) and the Data Sharing Environment Management (Gestione di Ambiente di Condivisione Dati, CDE );
* BIM certification;
* Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment;
* Strong analytical skills and growth-oriented mindset.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
* A yearly gross salary ranging between 26.000 and 30.000, which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract.

* Flexible working hours, according to your role and contract.
* Candidate holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree who have not been resident in Italy in the last 3 years and move back to Italy to start any work activity, and meet specific requirements, can benefit from a 50% deduction on their income.
