About the role
Are you our new Cash and Carry Account Manager for North of Italy? Do you have the talent, right drive, and capabilities to develop our Spirits brands in the FMCG environment? We have big ambition for C&C Italian business, and we need you as our Account Manager C&C to lead our spirit brands in North of Italy. With reference to the Regional Manager, you will get the daily responsibility to develop our Spirit Brands in your area in the C&C customers.
What are your responsibilities?
1. Crafting compelling customer propositions that unlock growth opportunities and improve balanced profit delivery:
2. Build a sell-out culture through the definition of a strong customer plan for the assigned customer including: promo calendar, assortment definitions, listing of innovations, and category management;
3. Lead customer’s daily routines including: order taking & management, forecast, stock management, and payment;
4. Visiting the assigned C&C Customers in the territory based on call frequency established for the relevant customer category;
5. Building a deep knowledge of customers' structure, commercial policies, and way of selling;
6. Developing collaborative & positive relationships/partnerships with all the customers and collaborators related;
7. Negotiating 2nd level commercial agreements in line with Diageo Italia’s commercial policies;
8. Delivering JBPs which build value for both Diageo and customer;
9. Engage with the sell-out team to detail complete the customer plan defined.
Performance monitoring:
1. Ensuring that activities within the agreed Customers are delivered with focus on 100% implementation to improve the return on investment and deliver the required brand and profit targets;
2. In case of non-compliance, identify and drive corrective actions.
Key outcomes:
1. Market share growth;
2. NSV Growth: drive turnover growth through customer management and crafting constructive and conditional plan with key customers;
3. GM%: run customer P&L to optimize investment and growth in a consistent way;
4. Customer Stock: maintain customer stock at the lower level to avoid OOS but also overstock;
5. Credit Management: support customers in order to avoid delay in payment terms.
About you
What are the requirements:
1. Strong negotiations skills;
2. Experience in FMCG C&C and Modern Trade channel;
3. Highly organized, able to plan customer activities in line with the strategy for their territory;
4. Qualifications: HBO/Academic;
5. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years commercial experience in field Sales, preferably in FMCG sector beverage industry;
6. Languages: Italian: native; English: Good knowledge;
7. Preferred locations: Milano, Bologna, Verona, Vicenza, or Padova.
