For our new Puccini Hotel Milan, a Tapestry Collection By Hilton, opening in September 2025, we are looking for the best and most passionate Front of House Manager, a key role in coordinating our Front of House Team. What will you be doing as Front of the House Manager:
* Ensuring a smooth running of all Front of House activities.
* Monitor and plan staffing levels to meet business demands effectively.
* Conduct monthly communication meetings and produce minutes.
* Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Supervise, coordinate and develop the Front of House team.
* Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
* Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems.
* Supporting the GM in running operations for our Puccini Hotel.
* Assist with other departments, as necessary.
Work Experience
* A minimum of 4 years experience as a Front Office Manager (or as Assistant Office Manager experience in a larger Hotel).
* Strong understanding of hotel operations, including guest check-in/check-out, room reservations, and managing guest inquiries.
* Familiarity with hotel management software (knowledge of Hilton ONQ and ONQ R&I is an advantage) for reservations, billing, and guest management.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring that cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
* Knowledge of Milan’s attractions, restaurants, and services to offer guests valuable recommendations.
* Experienced in creating and implementing operational procedures to enhance guest experiences and improve efficiency.
* Attention to detail and high standards for guest services, including room preparation, amenities, and special requests.
* Ability to manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures.
* Experience with handling financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, and cash management.
* Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with Team members, guests and suppliers.
* Capable of proactively solving guest issues with patience and professionalism.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Italian health & safety legislation, fire regulations and hotel security rules.
* Existing experience within the Hilton network is an advantage.
* A passion for coaching and mentoring colleagues.
* Proficient in written and spoken English language.
* Native or near-native Italian speaker.
* Proficient with computers and IT in general (Microsoft Package).
