Direct message the job poster from Bonatti We are looking for a Buyer responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, equipment, services, and subcontracts to meet project needs while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order or subcontract issuance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations (HSE, quality, security). Identify and pre-qualify suppliers, ensuring alignment with company procurement procedures. Issue RFQs to at least three vendors per item, follow up on bids, and conduct commercial bid evaluations. Coordinate with technical departments for bid evaluation and technical alignment. Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers in accordance with company policies and ethics guidelines. Prepare and submit bid award recommendations for approval. Issue and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and agreements. Maintain supplier relationships and support project teams in resolving procurement-related issues. Support expediting teams and manage any amendments to purchase orders or subcontracts, when necessary. Requirements: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Buyer in construction companies, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry, EPC contractors, or Power Generation industries. Strong knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of the procurement process from previous work experience. Experience in purchasing services and subcontracts is preferred. Knowledge of JDE or SAP ERP systems is preferable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
