ELECTRICAL COMMISSIONING COORDINATOR
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Commissioning Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in coordinating and overseeing electrical commissioning activities on complex projects. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee all electrical aspects of the project, in commissioning and in onshore and offshore plants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical Works Coordination: Organize, coordinate, and control the execution of electrical works performed by subcontractors or in-house teams, ensuring seamless integration with other construction disciplines and engineering departments.
2. Material and Equipment Management: Oversee the availability of construction materials and equipment, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule.
3. Safety and Quality Compliance: Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures, actively contributing to safety walkdowns and incident investigations.
4. Commissioning Planning: Verify that commissioning and start-up requirements are accounted for in engineering documents and participate in project planning and scheduling.
5. Vendor Coordination: Review vendor schedules and assignments related to commissioning, start-up, and test run activities, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
6. Progress Reporting: Issue regular progress reports on electrical commissioning activities within your area of responsibility.
7. Maintenance Planning: Contribute to the planning and scheduling of job routines for the project's maintenance plan, assigning resources, materials, and logistics.
8. Maintenance Execution: Oversee preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance activities through your team.
9. Work Order Approval: Approve work orders according to the Permit to Work procedure to enable scheduled works.
10. Electrical Isolation Control: Ensure the correct implementation of electrical isolation control through the Switch Board locking and unlocking register.
11. Personnel Development: Lead and train your team, identifying and addressing any training gaps.
12. Maintenance Optimization: Optimize the maintenance plan, spare parts, and manpower based on plant feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2. Proven experience in electrical commissioning and coordination on complex projects
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards
4. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
