Main Purpose of the Role:
Mars Renewable (MARS) is dedicated to the global battery storage business, aiming to become a leader in battery solution provision. Our team has established a track record of 2+ GW grid-connected renewable projects globally.
Present, promote, and sell MARS' solution portfolio to existing and prospective customers. Grow market share, boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Solution/Product
* Originate opportunities, create compelling proposals for energy storage solutions. Capture customer requirements, collaborate with Solution team to complete commercial and technical proposals, deliver offers for key customers.
* Negotiate key commercial terms with the customer and close transactions.
* Customer
* Develop relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders. Support and participate in business development and sales meetings with customers, representing MARS at industry conferences and professional forums.
* Market
* Understand go-to-market dynamics, define business cases, and disseminate functional requirements with internal colleagues. Report market activities and developments back to the company.
Requirements:
* Relevant sales or commercial experience within the energy industry, preferably in solar PV installation.
* Affinity with the renewable energy sector and a passion to learn.
* Desire to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial environment.
* Knowledge of battery storage systems, grid systems, and photovoltaic power is preferred.
* Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer mindset.
* Ability to understand and synthesize complex product information.
* Good analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
* Native Speaker, fluent in English.
