No Offer Description The research project is in the human-centered design of next-generation aircraft, particularly regarding noise and vibration reduction within the cabin structure. Planned activities include: The study of new low-weight, high-performance solutions, mainly based on the use of acoustic metamaterials; The development of numerical models for the design of metamaterials; The analysis of the efficiency of acoustic metamaterial panels by advanced numerical methods, taking into account the influence of the various layers on wave propagation, particularly in sandwich structures; The use of human-centered methodologies for the analysis of the solutions under study; The development of advanced digital models for the analysis of the proposed solutions in a virtual environment; The auralization of numerically calculated noise in digital models.
