Job Description Our Housekeeping Porters play a vital role in maintaining high cleanliness and tidiness in various areas of the hotel, ensuring that all areas are pleasant to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. The HSK Porters work closely with the Room Attendants under the guidance and supervision of the HSK Director, the Assistant HSK Director, the HSK Supervisor, and the Floor Supervisors. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, public areas, and back-of-house areas, ensuring they meet established standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and stains. Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards, to maintain a clean and attractive appearance. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary. Clean and sanitize the changing rooms and restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed. Restock housekeeping carts with clean linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies. Assist with the set-up of meeting rooms and event spaces. Respond to Guests’ requests for extra amenities or services promptly and courteously. Timely report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Floor Supervisor. Collaborate with other members of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient cleaning operations. Follow established health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in Housekeeping in a 5-star luxury hotel. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies, as well as proper cleaning techniques. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Constant attention to detail and strong commitment to cleanliness. Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Good communication skills to interact with Guests and colleagues in a professional manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
