Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled payroll professional to join our team and take the payroll experience to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the payroll processing cycle for a country or company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Oversee payroll balances and controls, including Source to Gross and Gross to Net calculations.
* Provide payroll accounting support and resolve complex queries and escalations.
* Manage vendor operations and serve as a point of contact for various stakeholders.
* Participate in process improvement projects, such as Six Sigma initiatives, and contribute to country expansions and new payroll setup projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* At least 2 years of experience in Israeli Payroll processes and systems.
* Deep knowledge of controllership and statutory compliance, including tax, labor code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations, and RSUs.
* Ability to handle ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data.
* Proficiency in Hebrew and English languages at an advanced level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in MS Access and MS Excel (VBA, macros).
* Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
* Experience in leading projects and working with virtual teams.
* Deep understanding of personal income tax legislation, labor law, insurance, sickness processing, and Czech pay calculation process.
* Familiarity with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, and ADP software.
