Responsibilities
SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS ., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS ensures a daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investments companies).
Mission:
Your role as a Junior HR Administration will be far from one-dimensional: you’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks and you will have the opportunity to gain deeper general knowledge in the Human Resources Administration & Payroll field.
This is a fixed-term position lasting until April 30th 2025.
Tasks and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including:
1. Processing from onboarding to termination using HRIS (IN&OUT database, PeopleSoft tool, ADP tools) to ensure all employees’ life-cycle events records are up to date
2. Update and ensure the reliability of information contained in databases
3. Responsible for monthly related reports and analysis
4. Be a support for all administrative tasks and support HR Operations Generalist colleagues on ad-hoc projects
5. Respond to customer inquiries on HR Administration & Payroll related topics, provide required information using available resources, follow up calls where necessary
6. Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
Profile required
Studies & experience:
7. Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Legal/Social Studies
8. Proven work experience (at least 6 months) as an HR Intern
Language skills:
9. Italian: C2
10. English: B2
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
11. Employee onboarding process
12. Hands-on work in HRIS
13. Solid understanding of labor legislation
14. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
16. Rigorous, with a sense of priorities and highly organized

19. You like numbers, but you also like to work with people: you are a good listener with patience, and you respond by trying to give simple explanations on complicated subjects
