The Opportunity
To support our continued growth, Heidrick & Struggles is recruiting either an Executive Search Intern or Analyst to join our Milan office. Your scope of work will include Italy, the rest of Europe and often have a worldwide-scope.
Job Description:
Executive Search Interns and Analysts are responsible, with a varying and growing level of responsibility, for supporting the research phase of the executive recruiting lifecycle. Working closely with our expert Search Partners & Principals (Consultants) and senior members of the Search team, they receive world class training and mentorship in an apprenticeship-style method. Our Interns and Analysts are exposed to all aspects of the recruitment process and assist the Consultant and senior colleagues by researching specific industries and relevant companies, plus support business development activities. Interns and Analysts support the team through candidate identification, preparing client reports and ensuring all data is accurately captured in H&S systems. An integral part of an Analyst’s role is building and sustaining relationships with internal Consultants, performing deep candidate, client and industry research and contributing to executive assessments against client’s requirements.
Main responsibilities
Participation in the entire recruitment process, from the briefing with the client and the identification of potential candidates, to the negotiation of an offer and the placement of the selected candidate.
Research and synthesis of information regarding business industries and “target companies”
Identification of potential candidates in Italy and abroad, using multiple sources of information: proprietary database, professional social networks, specialized press, etc.
Preparation of strategic documents: pitches, presentations for clients, candidate reports following interviews, etc.
Opportunity to attend and participate to assessment interviews and client meetings, alongside experienced consultants.
Ideal skills and profile
Graduates, or soon-to-be Graduates, of university/business school/engineering school.
Curiosity, autonomy, organization, thoroughness, dynamism, enthusiasm, people skills.
Fluent Italian and English are mandatory, any additional language - specifically Spanish - would be a plus.
Solid Word & PowerPoint skills.
