The CRESEMBA Global Brand Lead role offers an exciting opportunity to manage an innovative brand, launch a new pediatric indication around the world, chair the Global Governance and Global Medicines Teams (GMT), manage the commercial relationship with our alliance partner Basilea and ensure continued growth for the International Commercial Division by driving the global brand strategy.
CRESEMBA (Isavuconazole) is an extended-spectrum water-soluble triazole, developed
for the treatment of severe and life-threatening invasive aspergillosis (IA) and invasive
mucormycosis (IM) infections. If untreated, aspergillosis and mucormycosis are
associated with near certain death. These infections affect immunocompromised
patients especially hematology oncology, intubated ICU patients, and severe influenza
and COVID-19 patients. It has broad-spectrum of in-vitro activity and potency against all
major opportunistic fungi. The brand was first launched in the EU in 2015, and
has over 35+ launched markets. EU approval for a new Pediatric indication is expected in Q3 2024, with indication launches planned around the globe, specifically in the EU, China and EM Asia region.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role the CRESEMBA Global Asset Lead will:
1. Develops the Brand marketing strategy and positioning of CRESEMBA, including Life Cycle Management.
2. Drives launch excellence for new pediatric indication with development of customer-insight based content generation & launch sequence planning.
3. Co-chairs the CRESEMBA Global Medicines Team (GMT) with Medical, acting as single point of commercial accountability.
4. Acts as commercial alliance lead with partner, Basilea.
5. In partnership with PGS, drives global supply planning and management, a critical activity in an API-constrained supply chain.
6. Supports the development of KOLs and advocacy strategy, including the
management of relevant medical education such as congresses and symposia.
7. Manages OPEX and ensure that the brand budget focused and spent against highest mROI priorities.
8. Oversees appropriate market research and implement findings accordingly into the promotional platform to deliver growth opportunities.
9. Monitors and tracks CRESEMBA competitive intelligence and customer insights, incorporating relevant findings into strategies and content.
10. Leads the cross-functional CRESEMBA team in development of the annual Operating Plan deliverables, aligning across key stakeholders to understand opportunities, risks, customer insights. Defines appropriate strategies and tactics to meet and exceed these needs.
11. Constantly looks for ways to innovate our communication approach, leveraging
12. internal resources to deliver best-in-class messages to a broad range of customers.
13. Approachs all tasks with integrity and strives to spark JOY for the team.
Mandatory Experience:
14. At least 15 years of pharmaceutical experience with broad knowledge of the industry and healthcare environment.
15. Robust prior brand marketing background (global/ regional / country level) with a strong history of achievement and performance; strong financial acumen required.
16. Demonstrated track record of success in delivering top-line revenue growth and bottom-line performance.
17. Strong interpersonal skills are required, as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
18. Experience working with different functions and across cultures and partnering with colleagues who represent a diverse selection of experiences and skills.
19. Out-of-the-box thinker, change agile.
20. Leadership, executive maturity, and marketing skills to manage a flagship brand.
21. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams in complex matrix environments.
22. An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations.
Preferred Experience:
23. Experience in marketing Anti-Infective products or specialty products to hospital customers is a plus.
24. Robust prior brand marketing experience at a Global/Regional and Country level preferred.
25. Prior experience managing direct reports a plus.
Qualifications:
26. University degree in Science, Health Sciences, or Business.
27. MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.
28. Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex scientific content and epidemiology data and use that to articulate a well-defined commercial opportunity.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $191,300.00 to $318,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
