We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with 12+ years of technical expertise to join our team in Ispra, Italy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge, multi-tier Java-based web applications within a secure JEE/HTTP ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain multi-tier web applications using JEE.
* Plan and implement advanced integration strategies and patterns within secure environments.
* Design scalable and efficient APIs (REST or SOAP) with excellent knowledge of HTTP protocols.
* Work on microservices architectures to deliver modular and flexible solutions.
* Perform data modeling and optimize physical database design (preferred but not mandatory).
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 12 years of experience in Java-based application development.
* Deep expertise in JEE, REST APIs, and/or SOAP APIs.
* Excellent understanding of HTTP, API design, and integration patterns.
* Strong knowledge of microservice architecture and principles.
* Proven experience in secure application development within a JEE/HTTP environment.
* Experience in data modeling and database design is a strong plus.
