Job Description/Guideline
Position Title: Contracting Manager
Office/Department: Sourcing
Location: Remote (Asia Time Zone)
Position Reports To / Supervisor: Director of Contracting
Position Description/ Objective:
This role sits within a fast-growing Sourcing team, contracting ground transportation suppliers and managing commercial relationships with providers across the Asia region. The role’s main objective is to maximize commercial opportunities within assigned geographical markets through effective sourcing of ground transportation products and full ownership of all aspects of the commercial relationship with suppliers with the aim of continuously improving their offerings to deliver against set targets.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing new products and transport suppliers
2. Managing the end-to-end contracting cycle from inception to delivery
3. Negotiate existing and new contracts; re-negotiate contracts when necessary to maintain a competitive edge at each contracted city.
4. Evaluate and analyze market trends, competitors’ activities, and market/city reports and provide recommendations to maintain a competitive edge while maximizing revenue.
5. Establish strong internal and external relationships with transportation companies and internal peers with a strong focus on relationship management.
6. Focus on strong account management tasks aiming to deliver quality transportation supply to enable building consistent and growing sales in all source markets.
7. Monitoring quality control to ensure suppliers are performing up to company standards.
8. Contribute to crafting the best city strategy with leadership.
9. Align with metrics/KPIs/KORs of the company to reach the best outcome.
10. Provide relevant data and reports and analyze the performance at the city level with essential recommendations to adjust plans and operations when necessary to maximize revenue.
11. Nurture relationships with industry stakeholders (tourism boards, official transportation regulatory bodies, etc...) to support the growth of the company.
12. The successful candidate should demonstrate an ability to foster collaboration and active problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the Travel and Tourism industry would be preferred and/or a strong contracting or purchasing/procurement background
2. Strong account management skills
3. Previous experience in key B2B Travel wholesale companies or Transportation ride share operators
4. Strong quantitative and analytical competency
5. A self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to manage own workload and able to work under pressure
7. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
8. Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €2,900.00 - €3,900.00 per month
