Synergos Srl is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer Manufacturing (Rif. CG-102B2) for CPL & Taylor.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented buyer to select and purchase quality products for our business. The buyer will work with staff across departments to forecast needs and make purchase decisions based on demand.
The successful candidate should be analytically minded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best prices according to budget.
* Process purchase orders
* Negotiate with suppliers
* Track orders
* Create and maintain an inventory

* Liaise with inventory teams and management
Role Responsibilities:
* Work closely with category managers and project procurement managers to implement the category strategy
* Adapt and implement catalogues and framework contracts on Divisional/ regional level in compliance with guidelines
* Raise negotiations, awarding decisions, and follow-up with suppliers
* Execute supplier selection along strategy, requirements, supplier base development, and identification of new suppliers
* Direct involvement in solving issues with suppliers (e.g., quality, delivery, and service issues)
* Research new technologies and materials on request of other company functions
* Monitor and communicate performance of suppliers
* Strive for automation and digitalization practices and tool improvement
* Ensure cost, availability, innovation, and quality within the sourcing plan creation and execution
* Ensure compliance with procurement process, policies, and other statutory requirements within category
* Accountability of KPI's as agreed by the line manager
Key Accountabilities:
* Partner in designing increments of procurement strategy
* Team leader operational and service manufacturing buyers
* Proactive and value-added approach in the supply chain processes management and with stakeholders
* Continuously optimizes procurement processes in scope of work
* Continuous improvement of processes
We require:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
* Procurement or Supply chain Certification (optional)
* English (fluent)
* 5+ years of experience in procurement processes
* International contract management experience
* Background in quality management
* Cost analysis and management experience
* Knowledge of design to cost project related to welded construction, CNC & Carpentry
* Inter-Cultural Sensitivity
* Experience with implementation of corporate procurement
* Work experience in complex organizations
* Profound negotiation experience across the supplier markets
* Market analysis experience
* Ability to network and build lasting relationships
* Internal stakeholder /supplier relationship management
