Job Title: Teacher of Biology and Science
Located in the heart of Monza, the International School of Monza seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic, and inspirational Biology and Science Teacher to join our team from September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching Biology and another subject at IB Diploma Higher Level.
* Teaching General Science and a discrete Science in the Middle Years Programme.
* Developing and updating learning resources collaboratively.
* Differentiating lessons to meet pupil needs, providing challenge and support.
* Preparing engaging lessons and assessments aligned with departmental goals.
* Contributing to curriculum and assessment updates.
* Using diverse teaching methods for online and in-person learning.
* Engaging in professional development.
* Ensuring high achievement through collaboration and quality teaching.
* Monitoring pupil progress and reporting as required.
* Supporting interdisciplinary learning initiatives.
* Promoting the Science Department locally and internationally.
* Maintaining engaging displays of pupil work.
* Meeting deadlines and managing time effectively.
* Participating in school life, including extra-curricular activities.
* Supporting field trips, competitions, and experiential learning.
* Contributing to school events and activities.
* Representing the school positively to the community.
* Undertaking other duties as assigned.
