Job Description
The “Group Payment Solutions” (GPS) product line’s mission is to steer and oversee at Group level the strategy, the management and the development of transactional payments, cash management, Acquiring and Issuing products and services, with the goal to have competitive and cutting-edge products, in line with market and technological trends. Within Group Payment Solutions, “Issuing & Acquiring” focuses on steering and supervising at Group level the strategy, the development and the management of Acquiring, Issuing and Payment Cards products (including card wallet, virtual cards and proximity payments card based) and related services considering both market and technology trends and evolution of the competitive arena.
In particular, you will be part of the “Card Issuing” team within Group Payment Solutions. Responsibilities include:
* Work on specific topics related to Card Issuing, always considering a Group perspective.
* Analyse, manage and monitor Group LEs International Card Schemes (ICSs) and Domestic Scheme fees within the framework of Long-Term Agreements (LTA) in place with payments’ networks.
* Define detailed Profit & Loss (P&L) framework for Issuing (deep dives on active / passive commissions) as a basis for the analysis and identify revenues and costs association rules for each P&L item.
* Create a dedicated dashboard to monitor Card Schemes fees leveraging on partnership in place with external provider.
* Setup monthly reporting processes to track Card Issuing performances with impact at P&L with a focus on costs side.
* Deep dive the nature of Schemes Fees billed to Group LEs such as new fees, penalties and mandates.
* Actively analyse and monitor ICSs, Domestic Schemes and Processing fees at Group level within the scope of Multi Year Plan to define cost optimization initiatives and savings opportunities.
* Interact with ICSs counterparts and third party providers involved in the fees billing processes.
* Develop on a regular basis 'good practice sharing', centralize know-how and deliver multi-market solutions.
Minimum Requirements
* Up to 2 years from graduation or graduating in Economics, Business Management, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics.
* Excellent university degree and academic records.
* Clear understanding of reporting and data analysis and usage of surveys / market analysis.
* Strong MS-Office skills (Excel, Power Point, Think Cell).
* High degree of flexibility and endurance, critical thinking and decision making.
* Strong teamwork capabilities and ability to work within a global structure with parallel projects in a highly collaborative manner.
* Excellent communication skills whether it is presenting in a meeting or building out a deck (for Top Management and for internal/external stakeholders).
* Strong commitment, interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial thinking to support the establishment and development of Group Payment Solutions.
* Self-motivated, can-do attitude, problem-solver who can work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to remain effective under tight deadlines, manage multiple processes in parallel and manage uncertainty including the capability to manage pressure and unexpected tasks.
