A Day in the Life Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are experienced professionals with extensive knowledge of the healthcare value chain and diverse expertise across multiple disciplines. They collaborate with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways, and optimize operations. As a Buyer within the Procurement Team, reporting to the Functional Manager, you will support sourcing medical devices used in services, negotiate commercial terms in alignment with agreed purchasing strategies, develop and maintain relationships with key strategic suppliers of NGC, and manage relationships with important internal stakeholders. You will also handle operational activities related to procurement and, when necessary, analyze business and market data to ensure the most advantageous purchasing strategies are in place for NGC. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Development and implementation of purchasing strategies and deals Research, identification, and management of new suppliers and alternative products Maintenance of long-term supplier relationships to ensure consistent product supply Optimization of delivery times, payment terms, and consignment stock Management of internal stakeholder relationships and communication Analysis of prices, market data, and preparation of RFQs (Request for quotations). Required Knowledge and Experience: At least 2 years of experience in procurement Degree in a technical/scientific field Proficiency in Office software with intermediate/advanced Excel skills Strong problem-solving, analytical, and results-oriented approach Change management skills and ability to work well in teams Excellent relational, communication, and market knowledge Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the medical sector and a strong understanding of the market. Proficiency in English is preferred.
