Role Overview
As a Team Leader, Field Business Development (Lombardia), you will onboard small independent businesses to Satispay's platform, ensuring the growth of our SuperNetwork. You will coordinate and lead a team of Field Business Developers to achieve our ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be part of a talented team driving Satispay's expansion.
Your Mission:
* Enlarge our Network. Identify, visit, and propose our solutions to strategic merchants; enrich the Satispay network by promoting our product in the assigned area and meet individual and team targets.
* Team management. Lead and support Field Business Developers, serving as their point of reference for onboarding, training, and mentoring.
* Training and development. Equip team members with the technical skills, organizational abilities, priority management techniques, and proficiency in company tools needed to work autonomously.
* Performance management. Monitor and optimize team performance by conducting shadowing sessions, 1:1s, and team meetings, ensuring targets are consistently met.
* Strategic planning and analysis. Track and monitor business development activities using our CRM system, analyze performance trends, and produce reports for management.
* Collaboration with management. Support the Regional Manager in defining strategic actions to ensure territory development.
Your Ideal Profile:
* People management. You have 2+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Team Leader, showing a propensity for people management, structured communication, and empathy.
* Field experience. You're interested in working on the field, visiting merchants regularly, and effectively communicating and building trust with them.
* Communication and organization skills. You're great at effectively communicating, and proposing new solutions to merchants (B2B); you have a goal-driven mindset and feel challenged by ambitious targets to reach. On top of this, you also possess strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
* Analytical skills. You can concretely turn data into insights and initiatives, enhancing your ability to make informed decisions.
* Language proficiency and passion for FinTech. You are fluent in Italian and English and have a passion for FinTech, with previous experience in FinTech or Startup environments being a plus.
