Within the Group Chief Operating Officer function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Performing digital maturity regular assessment (business and IT) and analysis with the Generali BUsSupporting the Business Units to deliver locally the digital strategy and transformation roadmap to achieve operational excellenceEnsuring local digital capabilities are developed and/or adopted accordingly to the Group IT Ops StrategySupporting the OpEx initiatives, with a particular focus on steering and monitoring the Digital OpEx KPIsPreparing and delivering project management documents and presentationsCollecting and distributing the best digital practices within the Group as support to efficiently deliver the above responsibilitiesRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Excellent educational background, preferably in STEMAt least 7 years’ experience working in strategic or IT consultancy with a strong focus on insurance (knowledge of the core processes is required)Significative experience acquired in international environmentExcellent skills and proficiency in managerial reportingProficiency on digital technologies and trendsInterest and passion for innovation and disruptive technologiesA good understanding of database fundamentals, Agile methodologies, Software and web development methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProject management skills, including the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership and teamwork skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-taskingCapacity to influence stakeholders using business acumenSolid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skillsCompany ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
