Maternità (78002242M1D20250226)DISCOVER your opportunityYou will join our Italian Art Specie Underwriting Team, that is growing faster offering a full range of Art coverages to support business and privates.We are looking for a person with some experience in the art sector (art historian, art logistic and transport, art restorer, art dealer) who wants to grow her/his potential in AXA XL gaining professionalism in the insurance industry.Within the Underwriting team you will follow a learning path to become a professional Underwriter, being trained in both on-the-job and traditional blended methods. You will interact with professional Underwriters and technical experts to learn working side by side with them and experiencing directly on activities to become an Underwriter in the Art line of business.As Assistant Underwriter, your mission is to support Underwriters in all tasks related to their daily activities, supporting the team in the portfolio management and maintenance of the accounts on tools and systems, data quality assurance and continuous development of best practices, strengthening your technical risk analysis skills.Joining AXA XL, you will also thrive within a vibrant organisation that cares about its people and makes inclusion and well-being a priority. Supported by a diverse community of individuals, you can do and feel your best.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist the business unit in maintaining and developing their book of business; start building relationships with brokers for taking new risks and portfolio management;Preparing internal reports and presentations;Checking policies and learning to do technical analysis of risks until gaining proper authorities as Underwriter;Facilitating the entry of data into systems in an accurate and timely way;Developing an internal network for facilitating the transfer of information and data between functions and departments (underwriting, operations, claims, etc…)You will report to Head of Art Specie, IFL Trade Credit.Required Skills and AbilitiesSome experience in the insurance field (all kinds of risks) or art sector;Strong passion for arts and motivation to protect art pieces, institutions, and owners to support them in meeting their insurance needs;Ability to communicate and work in Italian, with a good level of English, spoken and written;Demonstrated experience with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;Ability to develop communication skills and maintain relationships with internal and external clients as well as across AXA XL and AXA Group entities;Proactive attitude facing new challenges;Strong and effective organisational skills and ability to prioritise;Digital agility and good understanding of IT tools and processes.FIND your futureAXA XL, the PC and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
