We are looking for a Buyer responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, equipment, services, and subcontracts to meet project needs while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order or subcontract issuance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations (HSE, quality, security).Identify and pre-qualify suppliers, ensuring alignment with company procurement procedures.Issue RFQs to at least three vendors per item, follow up on bids, and conduct commercial bid evaluations.Coordinate with technical departments for bid evaluation and technical alignment.Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers in accordance with company policies and ethics guidelines.Prepare and submit bid award recommendations for approval.Issue and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and agreements.Maintain supplier relationships and support project teams in resolving procurement-related issues.Support expediting teams and manage any amendments to purchase orders or subcontracts, when necessary.Requirements:Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Buyer in construction companies, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry, EPC contractors, or Power Generation industriesStrong knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of the procurement process from previous work experienceExperience in purchasing services and subcontracts is preferredKnowledge of JDE or SAP ERP systems is preferableProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and WordFluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plusThe position is based at our headquarters in ParmaThis position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of 2003 on equal treatment.
