The candidate will become part of the NX Engineering District of Catania having the opportunity to work on innovative and novel technologies to fully enable the energy transition.
Within the Procurement Department of NextChem spa, this role has the responsibility to procure Services related to the following Indirect categories:
* Engineering Services
* General Services (Canteen, Car Fleet, Car Rental Travel, Security, Cleaning, Hotels, Office Supplies)
* HR (Training & Recruitment Services)
* ICT (Hardware, Software, Fixed & Mobile Telecommunications)
* Expediting & Inspection Services
* Associations & Events
* Communication and Marketing activities
* Utilities
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
* Preparation of bidder lists;
* Organize and run tenders leveraging also e-Procurement System;
* Economic and contractual negotiation of contracts and associated contracts terms and conditions;
* Perform Economical Bid Evaluation and propose awarding;
* Secure compliance with internal procedures and protocols;
* Identify and propose cost savings / process improvement opportunities also through constant interfacing with Group Companies.
Required Skills:
* 4/5 years of Purchasing experience for categories in scope;
* Experience in operating in international challenging environment;
* Experience in end-to-end tender management (RFx Process). E-procurement systems knowledge is a plus;
* Experience in preparing and executing negotiation with suppliers both on costs and contracts Terms & Conditions;
* Experience in contract preparation;
* Ability to interface and manage Internal Stakeholders;
* Ability to manage multiple priorities;
* Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicting situations;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language;
* Team player with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships;
* Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications and SAP;
* Availability to travel for short periods in Italy and abroad.
Education: University Degree in Business & Economics or Engineering is a plus.
