HR Data Analysis & Organization Development Intern (F/M/D)
Objectives
Our HR Data Analysis & Organizational Development Intern is a contributor to the Wolford Human Resources Team, providing support in the collection, analysis, and presentation of HR data and metrics and contributing to strategic HR projects and strategies. The candidate is an essential team player who supports the HR team's data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
This entry-level role offers a valuable opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, gaining hands-on experience in the field of HR analytics, under the guidance of experienced HR professionals, contributing to various HR functions and projects. This position requires a deep understanding of HR processes, data-driven acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments, translating and recap information and data to make them exploitable.
TASKS
The HR DATA ANALYSIS & ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INTERN takes on a variety of tasks that are foundational to the analysis and interpretation of HR data within the organization.
* Data Collection and Processing: assist in collecting and organizing HR data, laying the groundwork for robust analytics.
* Data Analysis: apply academic knowledge to real-world HR data, contributing insights and fresh perspectives to the team's efforts, performing analysis on data availability and data quality, monitoring the full alignment of the current existing Reports and Dashboards with HR data sources systems (for Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, Separation, Health & Safety, Organizational Charts) .
* HR Metrics and Reporting: assist in tracking HR metrics, preparing HR Dashboards' data catalogue (KPI, Measures, Dimensions), creating reports and templates, and presenting data in a clear and understandable manner.
* Organizational Development: support and implement processes, procedures, templates and organizational models/charts and overseeing strategic HR projects.
* Research: conduct research on various HR topics, contributing to HR projects and initiatives.
* Administrative Support: provide administrative support to the HR team, assisting in various HR processes and tasks and supporting professionals of EMEA HR&ORG family to individuate, enhance and use HR systems (improving existing tools or delivering new ones, within local and global projects as well as participating in Group initiatives)
* Collaboration: works closely with other members of the HR team, contributing to the team's efforts and learning from experienced HR professionals.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The core requirements for this Intern position focus on a blend of educational background, technical skills, and analytical abilities. Here are the key essentials:
* Educational Foundation: A current student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Legal, Human Resources, (Master in Human Resources is a plus);
* Technical Skills: A basic understanding of data analysis tools and software is crucial. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot table) for data manipulation.
* Data Literacy: Understanding the principles of data collection, data processing, and data management is important. The ability to interpret charts, reports, and visualizations is also a fundamental skill.
* Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities are essential. They should be adept at hypothesis testing and have the capability to engage in inductive reasoning to draw insights from data.
* Statistical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and the ability to apply statistical techniques to analyze data sets are expected.
* Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is important. They should be able to present their findings in a clear and concise manner.
* Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure the accuracy of reports and analyses.
* Eagerness to Learn : As HR analytics is a dynamic field, a willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies, methods, and best practices in HR analytics is critical.
English and Italian are mandatory, any other language will be considered a plus.
