Responsibilities:
* Responsible for release work orders (verify work order number, quantity, and quality), pull staged parts and complete setups to ensure efficient flow of production.
* Installing and performing diagnostic tests on Electronic Modules using vehicle simulation equipment and diagnostic tools following testing criteria (procedures, parameters and error codes).
* Supporting electronic power-steering teardowns and BOM creation, document mechanical and electronic components, sensors, and electronic modules for future BOMs.
* Work closely with Application and Process Engineer to ensure that the current product procedures are up to date.
* Reads and comprehends Work Instructions and Single point lessons, as well as completes required documentation as required.
* Dexterity and coordination operating various hand tools including screwdrivers, hammers, pneumatic tools, etc.
* Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
* Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
* Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
* Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
Qualifications:
* HS Diploma or equivalent required. 2-year degree in relevant field preferred.
* Able to follow complex written and verbal direction.
* Able to lift up to 50 lb. regularly with proper technique.
* Demonstrated ability to operate hand-tools such as drivers, hammers, pneumatic tools, etc.
* Basic understanding of electronics principles and design preferred.
* Requires the ability to work independently with attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.
