Every day we impact the lives of millions by changing the way people see the world.JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Packaging Designer - softgood industry will create concept pack design, lead materials in order to create core secondary / special edition packaging in line with brand ID of the brandsVisualize creative concepts and designs for core packaging special editions with focus on soft good packaging.Create original designs for products and collections that are compliant with target, quality and production requirements;Good knowledge of softcase developmentsGood knowledge of materials (textile / leather …) on different area (luxury / entry / premium) and how they can interact in a packagingMonitor the marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competitors.Engage with various categories to maintain consistency throughout the Collection or Special Project.Participate in prototype development making models in 3D and constructing material mock-ups;Ensure design from first mockup to last sampling before productionParticipate in fittings, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments;Maintain clear and ongoing communication with suppliers or internal production stakeholders, providing detailed specifications for drawings materials; offering solutions for any challenges encountered.Supervise and lead state of the art adaptations of designs and ensure impeccable design sample of final artwork files created by prototypes departments pre productions sampling.Design and manage technical drawing process in collaboration with engineering and conduct industrial trialsMaintain an organized archive of design concepts, samples, and materials;Good cooperation with PM, engineeringInterface with internal external customer, assembly plants and central functions during the project execution through the maturity steps of package development process from feasibility to release to production.Maintain clear and ongoing communication with suppliers, providing detailed specifications for drawings and prints on fabrics, and offering solutions for any challenges encountered.Good knowledge of packaging production processes and decoration techniques;Good time schedule mindsetAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:Design concept creator good concept communicatorExpert on materialsProject timing keeperStrong communication skillCANDIDATE PROFILE:Educational Background:Educational Background in Fashion Design, product design, accessories design / soft good designer or related field;At least 5-7 years of proven experience on the packaging design or soft good industry (e.g. Luggages, Leather Goods, Jewelry)Solid experience with design software packages (Adobe – 3D – AI PLATFORM)Ability to be hands on designGood communication with other functionsOut of the box problem solving approach.Presentation and communication skillsHighly collaborative style willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teamsOpen to travelLANGUAGES:Italian mother tongueEnglish good / excellentOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitmentWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
