Job Description
This position is part of the Leica Biosystems Sales Team located in Italy and will be fully remote. The person will be preferably located in Bologna area or Emilia Romagna.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop strong and lasting relationships with current clients, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
* Identify and acquire new clients, expanding the company's market share within the assigned territory.
* Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* P present and promote Leica Biosystems products and solutions through technical demonstrations, presentations, and client meetings.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
* Monitor and analyze market trends, gathering feedback and information on competitors. Additionally, prepare periodic reports on sales activities, forecasts, and achieved results.
Requirements
* Italian native speaker and fluent in English both written and spoken
* Degree in scientific or related disciplines. A background in biology, biotechnology, or related fields experience working with clinical laboratories is preferred
* Strong orientation towards teamwork and operational flexibility
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Travel Requirements
* Ability to travel – 70 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations
* Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 3-5 years of previous experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the medical, diagnostic, or life sciences sector.
* PHD in scientific disciplines
* Residence in Bologna or Emilia-Romagna region
