Role Overview:
The Global Product Manager plays a crucial role in managing and evolving Cavotec’s ShorePower portfolio. This role ensures product success by:
* Leading product lifecycle management
* Understanding customer needs and market trends
* Driving product development and improvements
* Supporting sales and marketing teams in commercial activities
Key Responsabilities:
📌 Product Management & Development
* Define and manage product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
* Prioritize and coordinate product development efforts with engineering teams .
* Monitor product performance metrics, including quality, profitability, and turnover.
📌 Market & Customer Engagement
* Conduct customer interviews to refine product specifications.
* Assess market trends and industry drivers to guide product evolution.
* Develop business cases and sales collateral to support commercial activities.
📌 Sales & Business Enablement
* Train sales teams on product knowledge and applications.
* Assist in customer engagement, tender preparation, and product presentations .
* Represent the product portfolio at trade shows, conferences, and webinars .
Requirements:
* MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in engineered electrotechnical or electromechanical equipment (5-7 years preferred).
* 3+ years in product management, product marketing, or business development .
* Ability to define, refine, and improve product portfolios based on customer and market insights.
* Strong ability to present clear, impactful information to stakeholders.
* Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).
* Collaborative mindset with a proactive and resourceful approach.
* Exposure to Ports & Maritime sector is preferred.
Up to 30% travel, primarily within Europe, with potential global engagements.
