Impact Assessment and Permitting Consultant

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
* Support the Italian and wider global team by carrying out technical tasks as required;
* Be an active part of our audit team in Italy and abroad;
* Review and interpret EU and Italian environmental regulations;
* Support with the preparation of reports in Italian and English;
* Support with the application for major and minor permits;
* Meet project deadlines as indicated by the Project Manager.
Your starting point for constant growth
For this role, we believe your starting point is:
* Candidates should have a Master level university degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar;
* Measurable work experience either in industry or consultancy;
* Impact Assessment procedures and other relevant Environmental Permit procedures (e.g. IPPC authorizations, landscape authorizations, VinCA, off-shore permitting);
* Ideally proficient user of ArcGIS;
* Experience of field work and data analysis;
* Previous experience of adopting and applying national and international environmental regulation such as Decree 152/06 and EID Directive;
* Capable of producing clear and concise written documents in Italian language (mother tongue);
* Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
