As a Specialist Hardware Engineer, you will be involved in multidisciplinary innovation projects, applying your technical skills while also supporting your colleagues with your experience. You'll be the go-to expert for complex and challenging projects, collaborating with colleagues from other business areas. You will report to the Chief of Technology. Main areas of activity: · Develop system specifications based on high-level descriptions. · Design schematics, perform digital/analog SPICE simulations, and develop board layouts to meet system requirements. · Develop robust and highly reliable designs, carrying out trade-off analyses to create innovative, cost-effective solutions. · Assist in maintaining and developing design standards while supporting continuous improvement. · Provide clear documentation and strong technical support to contract manufacturers and the production department during product sampling and production stages. · Maintain relationships with vendors and specify necessary components. Required background and technical skills: Technical competencies: Solid understanding and experience in power electronic architecture theory, design, and testing (single-phase and three-phase, medium-low power). Proven practical experience in designing MOSFET and IGBT circuit devices. Experience in modeling and controlling brushless motors and power converters. Strong knowledge of the system development process, including concept creation, schematics, simulation, board development, as well as board and system bring-up and debugging. Experience in designing for electromagnetic interference (both radiated and conducted). Experience in high-reliability product development and manufacturing environments. Tools: Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar software. Familiarity with 3D CAD and 2D drawing software. Experience in microprocessor programming is a plus. Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer). Other skills and requirements: Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field. Work experience: 4+ years in electronics design, with at least 2 years of experience in designing electronics for motor control systems. Languages: English (B2).
