The position is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
* defining the product roadmap by researching and analysing markets conditions, identifying key competitors and trends
* gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
* articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements
* working closely with engineering, sales, marketing to ensure development targets and customer satisfaction goals are met
* planning and executing key strategic initiatives to consolidate/develop business exploiting opportunities given by the company current/future technologies, ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap
* Deliver Market and Products requirements
* Develop and win significant new initiatives impacting the revenues of the business category
* Work with customer/partners/external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
* Act as program/project manager to plan and execute beta and discovery programs with early-stage products and samples, overseeing the new product development activities
* Act as an expert with respect to the application field and competition, supporting sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and promote trust among functions
* Liaise with advertising and public relations to promote product
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering - MBA will be a plus
* Solid experience in positions as Product Manager/Business development in food & beverage (both customer or supplier sides)
* Demonstrated success in defining and launching components/devices on the market
* Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards
* Proven project management skills – PMP certification will be a plus
* Effective communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Negotiating skills
* Excellent teamwork skills, with the proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
* Problem analysis and solving and strategic thinking, with a proven ability to manage and analyse data to derive meaningful insights and quickly diagnose and correct any problems,
